Wes Anderson’s 13th film, The Phoenician Scheme, is described by Focus Features as a “story of a family and a family business.” The first footage from its official trailer details the misadventures of Zsa Zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro), an “international businessman, maverick in the fields of armaments aviation, among the richest men in Europe.” He’s also a survivor of six plane crashes and father of nine sons and one daughter. Clearly he’s a busy man.
The film, in theaters on May 30, is more than likely set to have its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival (we’ll know for sure on Thursday). And what would an Anderson film be without an all-star cast? Starring alongside del Toro is Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis.

The Phoenician Scheme opens on May 30.
