‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ Official Trailer: It’s All Come to This—Or Has It?

The trailer goes to great lengths to emphasize that this is the last Ethan Hunt adventure.

Today, Paramount released the trailer for Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which Tom Cruise himself teased yesterday with an image that suggested an America’s Next Top Model photo shoot. I’m not complaining.

The film, budgeted at $400 million, is the eighth and ostensibly last Ethan Hunt adventure, which the trailer goes to great lengths to emphasize. It’s in everything from the glimpses of the spry, ever-running Cruise from earlier films in the series to the chatter about it all having “come to this,” our lives being “the sum of our choices,” and that we need to trust him…“one last time.”
