Doja Cat has dropped a music video for “Stranger,” a track from her new album Vie that may or may not be about the rapper-singer’s tumultuous relationship with Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn. The clip, directed by video veteran Dave Meyers, sees Doja Cat playing a bride on the run and makes nods to iconic films like Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest and Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill diptych.

The video opens with Doja Cat, dressed in a flowing wedding gown and Louboutins, skydiving toward the Earth before being chased through a field by a small airplane a la Cary Grant’s character in Hitchcock’s 1959 spy thriller. She makes her way to a desert chapel, where, like the Bride played by Uma Thurman in the opening scene of Kill Bill, Vol. 1, she’s struck down—in this case by an arrow to the heart, a double entendre that’s underlined by a wink and a title card that reads “To Be Continued.”

Earlier today, Doja Cat announced new concert dates for 2026 across North America, Latin America, and Europe as part of her Tour Ma Vie World Tour, which kicks off in New Zealand in November.
