On the heels of her Eusexua Tour, FKA twigs has dropped a new song, “Perfectly,” accompanied by a music video directed by frequent collaborator Jordan Hemmingway. The track, which twigs first debuted during her tour in Paris, follows her most recent album, Eusexua, which was released in January.
“[I]f EUSEXUA was the tip of the tongue, PERFECTLY is the oesophagus,” twigs posted on Instagram. Co-produced by twigs, Koreless, and Xquisite Korpse, the euphoric track finds the singer embracing all of her (and life’s) imperfections: “Fucked up, I know I will/La-la-la let it go,” she sings atop a driving rave beat and synths that wash over the whole thing like Ibiza waves.
