French disco legend Marc Cerrone has teamed up with Christine and the Queens’s Rahim Redcar for a new song, “Catching Feelings,” the first single from their forthcoming EP. The intergenerational duo first collaborated for a live reimagining of Cerrone’s iconic 1977 dance hit “Supernature” at the Paris Olympic Games with a symphony orchestra, after which the producer invited Redcar into the studio to work together.
“Catching Feelings” is a catchy pop-disco track that finds Redcar imploring a potential lover to “let me be your man, don’t be afraid, catching feelings for me.” In an accompanying music video, directed by Redcar, the singer is seen performing the song in the studio and dancing through the streets, with Cerrone making a superimposed cameo.
