The first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic Greek poem The Odyssey is here. Shot across the world using brand new IMAX technology, the mythic action film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, who spends a decade trying to return home after fighting in the Trojan War. The star-studded cast also features Tom Holland as Odysseus’s son Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as his wife Penelope, and Mia Goth as Melantho. The Odyssey, Nolan’s follow-up to his Oscar-winning Oppenheimer, also stars Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Benny Safdie, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, John Leguizamo, and Elliot Page.

The Odyssey arrives in theaters on July 17.
